Techno freaks at the University of Maryland and AGAGI inc. have developed which can be said the first computer assisted digicam which when mounted on the barrel of the gun will help in recognizing faces.
The brain of the cameras is a 2 pound computer system which can be worn on belt or kept in a back pack. The camera will point in the direction where the gun will be pointed and will immediately record the picture and after analyzing with the given data will tell the user identity of the person.
It will be a boon in search and rescue operations were it will help soldiers in recognizing threats. It also has an onboard 3D sound system which will tell the bearer from which direction the shots are being fired.
Moreover it will also click the images and will make its own data base for reference if it sees the same face in two places.
There is some more to this it can also help soldiers in finding there exact location as they can take pictures of the surroundings and then compare them with GPS.
