The DARPA or the Defense Advanced Research projects Agency of USA is funding a $50 million project to develop Exoskeletal for the army personal. The project is known as “Exoskeletons for Human Performance Augmentation“.

These exoskeletals will help a normal soldier to carry more weights and run at faster speeds than the normal. These exoskeletal systems are expected to give soldiers amplified strength and speed, and will also have built-in computers to aid soldiers in navigating foreign territories.

The goal of the Exoskeletons for Human Performance Augmentation Program is to develop devices and machines that will increase the speed, strength, and endurance of soldiers in combat environments. The exoskeletals will provide a higher level of protection from enemy fire or chemical attack, allow wearers to stay active longer and carry more food, ammunition and field supplies.
