During the commemoration of Polish F-16 Peace Sky program, that started in April 2003, the Polish F-16, the most advanced aircraft of the 21st century, was demonstrated. This rollout was to venerate the 48 F-16s that Lockheed Martin is producing for Poland. The Poland Peace Sky program consists of 36 F-16Cs and 12 F-16Ds, each one having the Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 engine.
This frontline, a single-seat F-16C model, is a top-performance fighter that will give an edge to the Polish Air Force as this is said to have same abilities as the F-16 of U.S. Air Force has. The F-16 includes improved prospective, recent equipments and growth potential that will make it NATO’s most advanced fighter.
