Do not take it as a model of an improvised glider. The ultra-light CyberBug, being tested by CyberDefense Systems, equipped with a camera, is for investigation and scouting missions. Transmitting wireless videos to the ground, it is especially prepared for police and military needs. It has the capability of swinging in air for about an hour.
This unmanned craft driven with the propeller and electric motors is made up of white rip-stop nylon attached to a three-foot-long gray fuselage. Simple to operate, it is regulated by a controller and even can be monitor by the images on a laptop computer from a distance as far as 7.5 miles.
Its ability has already been tasted, and is expected to use in the rescue area where the initial reach would be difficult.
