US Army has developed a great number of non-lethal weapons to combat civil revolts.
Now the latest development is a 7.5 million candlepower strobe floodlight system that temporarily paralyzes all its human targets.
The device will be mounted on an unmanned air vehicle as a non-lethal crowd control system.
The system uses a xenon-based searchlight that can be pulsed with a unique modulation effect that results in immobilization to those within the beam.
The device looks great to control a mob, but I hope it does not have any long term effects...!
